A great question! The truth is, I am very protective of my life's work. Wouldn't you be?

While fishing with Friar Tucket and Polycarp last Saturday, we talked about this very thing.
We all agreed that we needed to build a relationship with our parish families. This is not about marketing. It is about sharing in a common Christian mission.
Oh, sure, I have to incur some income if I'm going to put food on the table. Feeding a platypus is quite costly. So, I have to charge a something for the artwork.
And let's face it--if it's free, it gets neglected--just like that old scuffed and broken chest of drawers still sitting in your garage.
Henceforth, I hope you will write me. Hermits tend to get lonesome from time to time. Let me know a bit about you and your parish family.
And when I'm traveling (which I do a lot with my wife's business), I will drop by your parish for Sunday Mass, unexpectedly, just to attend Mass and say hello. And if your staff are especially welcoming to outsiders, I may even introduce myself!
